For our fourth of July party this year the kids and I decided to get crafty. We found this fun idea on Pinterest and decided to give it a whirl.
Using a few basic mason jars, we painted them white.
Next we taped one of them off for stripes and painted the exposed stripes red.
For the second jar we cut stars out of painters tape, stuck them randomly around the jar and them painted the exposed places blue.
*We had to do a bit of touch up after our first attempt, but we worked it out.
For the third jar we painted red and blue fireworks!
The lids were painted blue and red.
We pretty much free handed everything and there was a bit of touch up that had to be done but overall it was a fun project and it turned out pretty great. We will be rocking our party this year! 🙂
