I have been doing some updates to a few of my personal social media sites this week and I came across some of the reviews that past clients have written for me. It is always awesome to read the nice things that people say about you, especially in the midst of the week that just won’t quit. One review in particular hit home for me though. It was written fairly recently, but I hadn’t had a chance to read it yet. It was from a girl, a photography client, who had called me to schedule business headshot that her new company was requiring of her. She was SUPER nervous. She literally shook the whole time. My heart went out to her, as I too am not a fan of being on the other end of a camera, so I was determined to make it as pleasant of an experience as possible for her! In her review, she said that she was so anxious about the shoot, she almost cancelled several times. She said as soon as she met me I made a joke (probably a really lame one) that made her laugh and helped her anxiety level drop quite a bit right off the bat. She went on to say that I was so easy to be around that by the end of the shoot she felt like she had known me forever and that she actually ended up enjoying herself. She sent me an email expressing her sincere hope that her and I would keep in touch… oh, and to tell me that she was happy with her pics too. 😉
I can not think of a better compliment that someone could give me! For sure one of the BEST compliments I have ever gotten!

I am so thankful that this client decided to take the time to share such kind words with me. It is so easy to think such things but never get around to saying them to the person who often truly needs to hear them spoken!
So, what about you? What is the best compliment you have ever been given?
I would love it if you would share them in the comments section below!
